Rustycon 34 – January 2017

Rustycon is an annual science fiction and fantasy convention, held locally in the greater Seattle Area, with approximately 500 – 700 people in attendance. We have multi–track programming, a dealer’s room, an art show, and a hospitality room for the general membership. As a focal point for Northwest Science Fiction/Fantasy fandom, we try to provide something of interest for everyone.

I am delighted to announce I will be a panelist at Rustycon 34 coming up January 14 and 15 in Seattle. See you there!

Author Anthea Sharp and TRL staff member, Ryan Williams will talk about how to get your writing directly into the hands of readers at the Hoquiam Timberland Library. This event is part of Timberland Reads Together – a one book, one community reading program.

October 8th, 6-9pm, Olympia

Anthea will be attending the upcoming launch of the Timberland Writes Together Anthology at the Washington Center for Performing Arts in Olympia.   Come for the Q&A and ask the contributing authors your questions! After the event, there will be time to chat with the authors.

Tacoma Round Table Readers meets the first Wednesday of every month at the Round Table Pizza in Tacoma at 7901 S. Hosmer St Ste A-1, from 12:00 – 2:00.

We’ll have fun with writerly questions and answers – plus other fabulous people will be there, like award-winning artist Neeva Torok, and the lovely Morwen (pictured below). And a huge shout-out to the amazing Myra, who has worked so very hard to make me and the faerie ring look so good! You know you want to come sit on one of her custom-made mushroom seats and chat about writing~
